Since Brexit, many British citizens believe they can’t live in France for more than 90 days within a 180-day period. That’s not entirely true—especially if you’re thinking about buying a home in France! VIEW SHORT VIDEO

Here’s the good news: with the right visa, you can stay longer. It involves meeting 3 main requirements:

Proof of Address in France. This could be a long-term rental or simply proof of property ownership from a notaire. Importantly, this doesn’t mean you need to be a tax resident here!

Proof of Income of around €20,000 annually for one person, or €30,000 for a couple. You can also qualify by showing that you have this amount in your bank account.

Medical Coverage that meets the French government’s standards and affordable options exist, if you know what to look for.
