About the Beziers-Narbonne area
The towns of Beziers and Narbonne are only 30 minutes apart by car, and even closer by train. Both towns, and the surrounding area, are a popular choice for primary and holiday homes, being at the centre of the Languedoc wine region, as well as close to the vast beaches of this part of the South of France. Beziers is best known for wine and bullfighting - thanks to an annual "Feria" in August - while nearby Narbonne is an UNESCO heritage site, due to the Canal de la Robine, an offshoot of the Canal du Midi.
