COVID-19 UPDATE
New Lockdown declared in France as of Friday 30th October

We are now in a new lockdown period in France.

If this means you can no longer come and visit properties with us in person, you can rest assured that we are continuing to work for you. We are doing the following:

  • Updating and adding new properties on our website
  • Exchanging emails and calls with buyers and vendors
  • Putting together property lists, sending you available information and material on your preferred properties
  • Accompanying you on live virtual tours
  • Taking on new sales mandates
  • Carrying out virtual signing using an e-signing facility for all legal documents.

The buying process will continue for all the ongoing sales as notaires, banks, administrations and France Property Angels continue to work.

With our best wishes to all our clients from the France Property Angels Team

If you are dreaming of an authentic French lifestyle where daily conveniences, a warm community, and stunning nature are all right on your doorstep, Clarensac should be at the top of your list. Nestled in the highly sought-after Vaunage valley in the Gard department, this vibrant village seamlessly pairs historic charm with a thriving local spirit.

Whether you are looking for a permanent relocation or a lock-up-and-go holiday home, Clarensac offers the rare luxury of a peaceful village setting where you can easily live day-to-day without always needing to hop in a car.

Living and Getting Around

Life in Clarensac centers around its charming streets, historic fountains, and easy accessibility. For daily travel, the village is exceptionally well-connected by public transport. You can easily travel by bus with the Tango network from Nîmes Métropole using lines 51, 52, and the T5 line, making trips into the city simple and stress-free.

When you want to explore further afield, the stunning Roman city of Nîmes is practically on your doorstep, and the bustling city of Montpellier is just a short drive away. For international travel, you are perfectly positioned between two regional airports, and excellent healthcare facilities are just minutes down the road.

Lifestyle and Convenience

What truly sets Clarensac apart is how self-sufficient the village is. You can easily complete your morning errands entirely on foot, stopping off at one of the three local boulangeries for fresh croissants, picking up fresh produce at the épicerie, or grabbing daily essentials at the Super U Utile mini-supermarket.

The social heart of the village beats at the local cafés and restaurants, where neighbors gather under the shade of the trees. Throughout the year, the village comes alive with traditional festivals, and the local associations offer countless ways to get involved in community life, from sports to cultural clubs. For outdoor lovers, the surrounding Vaunage valley provides an incredible backdrop of vineyards and garrigue countryside, perfect for walking and cycling.
